BJJ in Dorking, Surrey
Gi Jiu-jitsu classes
These are classes undertaken wearing the gi. Grips and techniques such as
chokes or sweeps can utilise the uniform we wear.
Gi jiu-jitsu is often described as more technical, however it is more that
the nature of the gi and the grips give you more options and also can slow
the pace of the match.
Grading, that is awarding of belts, is done in the gi, so you will wear
different coloured belts depending on your grade.
