Lock down extension…
We celebrated the news of another 4 weeks of no contact with another circuit training session..
These sessions have actually proved to be quite good at improving people’s fitness, so they may be found added to the timetable post lockdown.
Sandbags, bulgarian bags and kettlebells are all proven tools to improving a grapplers performance, which is why they are part of the gyms equipment. Its been quite fun to devise a circuit based on the energy requirements of Brazilianjiu-jitsu, nothing beats actually rolling but I think we got close!
The kids classes have started, as rules allow normal training for under 18s. They have been fun and proved popular, so we are hoping to grow these and get more of the Dorking kids involved!
We will use these extra 4 weeks to keep up with the fitness, and trying not to grumble, we will be rolling soon…….. (hopefully)
